At Pelican we believe that close collaboration at all stages of a project benefits all parties and makes for the best possible publication. Review/editing of manuscripts. Manuscripts will normally be reviewed by our editor and at least two reviewers with expertise within the scope of the publication. We reserve the right to edit accepted manuscripts to ensure conciseness, clarity, and stylistic consistency, subject to the author’s final approval.

Manuscript Submission

• The manuscript must be your own personal and original work.
• Author name and book title should appear on the first page of your manuscript.
• Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman, 12pt. and double-spaced on one side only of 8.5 x 11" white paper with one inch margins on all sides.
• If your book is in electronic format, you must still submit a hardcopy for evaluation. We will require an electronic file only if the manuscript is accepted for publication.
• Do not bind your work in any way (an elastic band is fine).
• A completed Manuscript Submission Form must accompany all manuscripts.

We will contact you as soon as we are able via either letter or telephone. Allow at least eight weeks for response on your manuscript. We will try to respond as soon as possible, however prior production commitments may result in occasional delays. NOTE: Do not submit your original manuscript. Pelican Publishers is NOT responsible for submissions lost or damaged in transit.
